![]() Thank you to all the parents (and governors) who came along to the maths curriculum workshops today. As well as finding out about some of the changes that are on the way in the maths curriculum, the adults were encouraged to have a go at some maths activities. We hope you found it informative and enjoyable. Many thanks to all those who came along to the music concert this afternoon.
It was lovely to watch the children perform the songs they have been working on and to listen to some of our musicians playing on their instruments. ![]() We welcomed some of our friends from the local community into school this week. They have transformed our school library into 'Soul Space' where the children have had the opportunity to take time to reflect on themselves, their friends and family and the wider world. The children have really grasped the opportunity to have some quiet time to think about issues they face in their lives and take time to reflect on them. ![]() Monday saw the launch of our annual Health and Wellbeing week in school. All week we have a range of activities organised to help us all to reflect on keeping well on the inside and the outside. In our assembly we thought about the choices we make and how they affect ourselves and those around us. We listened to the words of a wise owl who said that: "Happiness is an inside job!" This week in our assemblies we have been reflecting on the enjoyment of learning and how exciting it is to find out new things.
Today lots of the children shared some of the fantastic things they have been learning at home. They shared some of their homework with us and the quality and range of work on show was fantastic. We hope they have inspired everyone to keep enjoying their learning and motivated them to produce some great pieces of work. |
