It was great to see Tirlebrook turning green today as we celebrated the final day of our "Green Week'. It has been wonderful to spend time outdoors exploring and enjoying the wonders of the natural world.
Congratulations to all our pupils for taking part so enthusiastically in our annual House Nature Quiz. Beauchamp scored the most points in the infant nature quiz and after a closely contested series of tie-breaker questions Montague scored the most points in the junior nature quiz. Once all the points were totalled Beauchamp were announced as this year's House Nature Quiz champions and were awarded with the trophy during Celebration Assembly.
This week we launched our Green Week in school. There was a range of 'green' activities taking place including all of our KS2 pupils taking part in bird spotting workshops and spending time outdoors, all of our children celebrating out core value of 'Environment' by exploring our Woodland Workshop, our 'Green Team' spending time in the school allotment and of course our annual House Nature Quiz.
Congratulations to our dance groups the Tirlebreakers and the Tirleboppers who tooke part in the parade through Tewkesbury on Saturday as part of Tewkesbury's Big Weekend celebrations.
They then both performed brilliantly at the dance arena. Many thanks to all the staff who came along and to all the fabulous Tirlebrook families who lent their support. Well done everyone!
It has been great to see all the colours of the rainbow throughout Tirlebrook today as everyone gets involved with our School Council's 'Kindness Day'.
There have been many random acts of kindness happening across the school and this afternoon our Y6 pupils are very kindly working with the other classes to show them how to make bookmarks inspired by their recent craft workshop with Angelica Bell on their Ultimate School Trip.
