Our dance club have been working hard on their performance ready for the Feet First Festival next week
They are dancing to Katy Perry's 'Roar' and have created an exciting and dynamic piece that I was lucky to get a preview of this afternoon. Many thanks also to Mrs Perry for all her hard work. Below are some photos of their rehearsal. Welcome back! We spent time in assembly today reflecting on respect. This is one of the values of the School Games. Visit our blog via the school website We have been spending time talking about ways to keep safe online. We have discussed internet safety and had a whole school assembly.
Some parents also came along to an internet safety presentation this morning. Friday night/ morning was a great...if sleepless...event, full of activities, fun and friendship.
We were treated to a variety of acts at our 'Tirlebrook's Got Talent' shows. Many thanks to all the contestants for entertaining us so well and to the judging panel. The children also enjoyed getting involved over at Tewkesbury Sports Centre, expending lots of energy on table tennis, football, badminton and much more! Look out for next week's newsletter. Thanks also to the staff for serving up supper and breakfast to everyone too. An enjoyable and tiring time was had by all. There were a few yawns this morning... Please note - there is a cross country race tomorrow. It is still due to go ahead. If you are unable to help with transport or your child is unavailable to compete please let us know tomorrow. Due to flooding the race will be held on the course at the top of the vineyards. The children will need to gather under the big tree next to the play park. Car parking is still available at Tewkesbury Rugby Club but can only be accessed at the rear entrance on Despenser Road, Priors Park. Alternative parking is available at Queen Margaret's Primary School.
Further race dates for your information: Thu 13th Feb Thu 27th Feb Thu 6th Mar Thu 13th Mar Thu 20th Mar (reserve) Many thanks for your support. |
